Peptide Mixing Compatibility Chart

Which peptides can share a vial or a syringe? This chart answers only that question, and only where a source does: a US drug label, quoted below, or a published study. Of the 331 pairs it covers, 85 have an answer from a label; the other 246 are marked unknown, because no label or study says whether those two products can be mixed. Unknown does not mean safe to mix, and it does not mean incompatible. Updated October 27, 2026.

Whether two peptides interact in the body when injected separately is a different question. The Peptide Interaction Checker rates that, and its ratings are listed at the end of this page, apart from the grids.

✓May share a syringe: a label says so✕Do not mix: a label says so?Unknown: no label or study says either way

Approved insulins, GLP-1 drugs and pramlintide

For these products the US labels say what may share a syringe. Of 78 pairs, 4 may be mixed, 59 must not be, and 15 are unknown (no label addresses them). The unknown pairs include two GLP-1 drugs together, which their labels advise against using at all, mixed or not (see the interaction ratings below).

Approved products: 13 × 13, 78 pairs. Cells give the label's answer for one syringe; hover for detail.

Research peptides people stack

These are the 23 peptides in the Interaction Checker. Only one of them, SS-31, has an approved product whose label speaks to mixing: Forzinity (elamipretide)'s label says “Do not mix other products in the same syringe.” Every other pair is unknown: no label exists for most of these compounds, and no published study has tested any two of them mixed in one vial or syringe.

What each answer rests on

The label sentences behind the approved grid, each once. A pair is “do not mix” when either product's label forbids it, even if the other label is silent, and “may mix” only when a label allows it and neither forbids it. Where a mix is allowed (NPH with a mealtime insulin), the labels also say to draw the clear, faster insulin into the syringe first and to inject straight away, and none allows mixing in an insulin pump.

Early pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic effects of mixing lispro with glargine insulin: results of glucose clamp studies in youth with type 1 diabetes. Diabetes Care. 2010;33(5):1009-12. Why the research grid is almost all unknown

Mixing two peptides in one vial is a formulation question: each has its own preferred acidity, salt form and stability, and a combination can change how either one dissolves, degrades or is absorbed. Labels answer it for the approved products above, sometimes with a study behind the answer (pramlintide's label says mixing it with insulin can alter the pharmacokinetics of both). For research peptides nobody has published that work. A 2026 review found that even BPC-157, among the most used, has no validated formulation and no formal excipient compatibility studies. Mateescu DM, et al. BPC-157 as an Investigational Peptide Therapeutic: Biopharmaceutical Challenges, Formulation Strategies, and Translational Development Barriers. Pharmaceutics. 2026;18(5):625. PMID: 42198317 Our searches for mixing or compatibility studies of these peptides:

  • PubMed, 2026-10-27: (compatibility OR "same syringe" OR admixture OR coformulation) AND (BPC-157 OR "thymosin beta 4" OR ipamorelin OR CJC-1295 OR sermorelin OR tesamorelin OR GHK-Cu OR bremelanotide OR semax OR selank) returned 10 records, 0 of them a mixing or compatibility study of the peptides searched.
  • PubMed, 2026-10-27: (compatibility OR "same syringe" OR admixture OR "mixed with") AND (semaglutide OR tirzepatide OR retatrutide OR "thymosin alpha 1" OR elamipretide OR "melanotan II" OR epitalon OR "MOTS-c" OR KPV) AND (stability OR physicochemical) returned 4 records, 0 of them a mixing or compatibility study of the peptides searched.

Products sold as pre-mixed blends are a related question: see the blends and stacks hub for what has been studied about each mix.

This chart describes what labels and studies say. It is not medical advice and not an instruction to obtain or use any compound; ask a pharmacist before mixing anything in one syringe.

Interaction ratings (not mixing)

The Interaction Checker's 38 rated pairs, for taking two products as separate injections. A rating says nothing about putting them in one syringe. The basis column says what each rating rests on; open the checker for the detail.
