Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026The short version: Grey Peptides does not require accounts and does not sell data to anyone. The only personal information we hold is an email address you choose to give us for the newsletter. We use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic insights and load fonts from Google. That's it.
1. Who we are
Grey Peptides (greypeptides.com) is an independent educational website that publishes peptide research, reference tools, and informational articles. We do not sell peptides, supplements, or any physical products. We are not a medical provider.
2. What we collect
Grey Peptides is designed to collect as little data as possible. Here is a complete summary of the information that may be gathered when you visit the site:

Apart from a newsletter sign-up, nothing in the table above is linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not combine analytics data with any other data source, including the newsletter list.
3. What we don't collect
To be explicit about what Grey Peptides does not do:
We do not require or offer user accounts, logins, or registrations. We do not collect names, phone numbers, or mailing addresses, and we hold an email address only if you type it into the newsletter form yourself. We do not store payment or credit card information. Apart from that one newsletter form, the site runs no contact forms, comment sections, or user-submitted content features. We do not track individual users across sessions. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not build user profiles or create advertising segments. We do not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking technologies.
4. Newsletter
The newsletter sign-up is the only place the site asks for personal information, and it is optional.
- What we keep: your email address and the address of the page you signed up from, so we know which pages bring readers to the list. The form also submits a hidden anti-spam field that should be empty; it holds nothing about you.
- Who stores it: Netlify, the company that hosts this site, stores each sign-up as a form submission (Netlify Forms). See netlify.com/privacy.
- What we use it for: sending the Grey Peptides newsletter (changes to peptide rules, then new guides) at most once a week. It is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and never used for advertising.
- Where it stands: the newsletter has not started sending. Before the first issue goes out we will name the email service in this section, and addresses will move to it only to send this newsletter.
- Leaving: every issue will carry an unsubscribe link. Before launch, or at any time, email hello@greypeptides.com and we will delete your address.
- Lawful basis (GDPR and UK GDPR): your consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
5. Analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-DH5ZM9H10Y) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the site, and what content is most useful. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors.
Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We have configured Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses where supported. We do not enable advertising features, remarketing, or demographic reporting within Google Analytics.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts.
6. Cookies
Grey Peptides does not set its own cookies. Google Analytics may set the following cookies:

These cookies can be blocked in your browser settings or with any standard ad-blocker without affecting site functionality. Every tool, article, and page on Grey Peptides works fully without cookies.
7. Third-party services
The site uses a small number of external services to function. Each is listed here with a link to its privacy policy:

We do not use social media tracking pixels, embedded social widgets, or third-party comment systems.
8. Affiliate links & advertising
Grey Peptides does not use affiliate links, accepts no sponsored or paid placement, and does not sell or link to any peptide vendor. That is a standing editorial rule, not a current setting; see About and our editorial standards.
The site shows no advertising today. If display advertising is ever added, it will endorse no product, it will be labelled as advertising, and this section will list any cookies it sets before it appears. Evidence grading, regulatory status reporting, and clinical assessments are written without any commercial relationship.
9. Data retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Apart from those, we hold no personal data to retain or delete.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights under data protection laws such as the GDPR (European Union), UK GDPR, CCPA (California), or similar regulations. These typically include the right to access data held about you, request deletion of your data, opt out of data collection, and object to data processing.
The only personally identifiable information we hold is a newsletter sign-up, if you made one. To see, correct, or delete it, email us at the address below. You are equally welcome to ask about data associated with a visit.
California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EU/UK visitors (GDPR): The lawful basis for processing analytics data is legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage. You may opt out at any time using the methods described in the Analytics section above. The lawful basis for the newsletter is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
11. Children's privacy
Grey Peptides is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. The site's content covers biomedical research and pharmacological information intended for an adult audience.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
